Warranty Information – JapanCrafts

At JapanCrafts, we stand behind the quality and craftsmanship of our knives. Every knife we produce is made to the highest standards, and we are proud to offer a 5-Year Limited Warranty.

What is Covered

  • Defects in material and workmanship under normal household use.

  • Faults in the blade, handle, or balance that occur despite proper care.

  • Manufacturing defects that affect performance or durability.

What is Not Covered

  • Normal wear and tear (e.g., gradual dulling of the blade, small scratches).

  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, or accidents (e.g., dropping the knife, prying, or cutting bones).

  • Improper care, including dishwasher cleaning or incorrect sharpening.

  • Modifications or repairs made by third parties.

Warranty Period

This warranty is valid for 5 years from the date of purchase. Proof of purchase is required.

Remedies

If a defect covered by this warranty occurs, JapanCrafts will, at its discretion:

  • Repair the product,

  • Replace the product with the same or an equivalent model, or

  • Refund the purchase price if a replacement is not possible.
